The White Collar Factory development, situated on Silicon Roundabout at the heart of London’s Tech City, comprises a new 16-storey tower connected to two retained buildings and three new ones by a series of new alleys and passages.
Designed by AHMM and inspired by 19th century industrial architecture, the new development represents a new type of office building. High ceilings, abundant natural light and natural ventilation create a sustainable environment where the users utilise technology to control their surrondings. The 237,000 sq ft of new flexible office space incorporate a number of original ‘long life:loose fit’ architectural features to provide the most suitable space for modern office occupiers.
Tenants can make the most of the wider benefits of the development. The reception area provides fully wi-fi enabled communal workspace and a courtyard offers new public space with multiple food and restaurant outlets. A big roof terrace forms an informal meeting space whilst the rooftop running track create one of the most places to exercise.
